Support Deep River Northview 10U All-Stars

Most 10 year olds are taking time off from school this summer to go to the pool, playing video games, hanging out with friends, or going on vacation trips but there are twelve boys who are in the sand getting dirty, not by building sand castles but by putting in hard work on the baseball field.

Each year, Northview pulls together twelve of the top 10 year olds from the spring recreational season to create one team for the Allstar baseball tournament. The Northview 10U All-Star team is a unique, fun, and very talented group of boys who continue to have a positive impact on each other and everyone around them. The boys and their coaches had one month to come together as a team, practicing three to four times a week for two hours each practice.

Their hard work paid off during their first stop in Swansboro, NC, on June 28th - 30th for the State Tournament. The boys represented Lee County well by hitting, pitching, and playing great defense by only giving up 9 hits and scoring 42 runs on 45 hits in 4 games. They dominated their way to the state championship game before coming up short, losing 7-4 to New Bern All-Stars. Since they came in second, they punched their ticket to the Super Regionals July 17th-21st in Alexandria, VA.
