Support Deena's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for Deena Popp, my brave best friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the very young age of 32 years old. As many of you know, Deena has always been the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, and a bright smile to those around her. To know Deena is to know true friendship and now, she needs our help more than ever.

Deena and her family’s lives have been turned upside down these last few months. Through all of it Deena has kept a smile on her face all while doing what she loves, being a middle school English teacher.

Despite the overwhelming challenges of this diagnosis, she is facing her treatment with overwhelming strength and courage. However, her road to recovery is long, and the financial burden of medical bills, treatments, and everyday expenses is quickly adding up.

Any funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Deena's medical treatments, including chemotherapy, surgery, and her ongoing care, as well as helping with daily living costs during this difficult time. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial stress so that she can focus on what matters most—fighting this cancer and getting back to the people she loves, including her loving husband Joe, a FDNY firefighter, and their beautiful two year old son Mikey.
