On June 4, 2026, what was meant to be a special family outing during a work trip to Montana turned into a life-changing event.

While attending a conference, Deena took her family to experience the beauty of Glacier National Park. During the visit, Deena and her son, Kallen, were involved in an e-bike accident.

Deena suffered catastrophic injuries. She broke her leg, both wrists, her chin completely in half, her jaw on both sides, her maxilla, her nose, lots of bruising, and suffered a minor brain bleed. She also suffered severe dental trauma and now faces a long road of surgeries, medical procedures, rehabilitation, and recovery. The physical pain is immense, but the emotional and financial burden on the family is equally overwhelming.

If you know Deena, you know she is one of the strongest, hardest-working, and most compassionate people you could ever meet. She is the person who shows up for others without hesitation, offers encouragement when it's needed most, and gives endlessly of herself to her family, friends, and community. Now, she needs us!

The Gage family has already endured more than their share of challenges. In recent years, they have faced ongoing medical hardships, including Kallen's recent diagnosis of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). For which he missed most of his 2nd half of high school. In 2024, Scott suffered a compound tib/fib break while also navigating life with Persistent Postural-Perceptive Dizziness (PPPD). He is still recovering with physical therapy. Through every obstacle, they have remained resilient, faithful, and determined.

As Deena undergoes multiple surgeries and countless medical appointments, the family will be juggling travel expenses, medical bills, lost income, rehabilitation costs, and the day-to-day challenges of caring for one another during this difficult season. Deena is the sole income provider for her family due to her husband's medical condition.
