Experiencing this tragedy has plenty of hardships that are only just beginning, asking for support in assisting financially so that this particular burden can be eased.
DEEJ is 13 and has experienced a traumatic brain injury that at this point in time the full scope of damages is uncertain. It will include recovering damage to his brain and bodily functions, facial reconstruction surgery of his face and sinuses, possibly losing his right eye and emotional healing to say the least.
We are all holding onto the hope that has peaked through… able to give a and nodding his head yes when asked if he wanted mommy to give him a kiss and twirling one figure to ask for “round round” where she tickles his skin to soothe.
This family is one I have watched grow and heal together in places that would’ve shattered most. Divorced parents coparenting as one big family in love for their kids. (Rare in today’s world) and the loss of the oldest son don’t a traumatic accident. This family is more than due for miracles and support from others. They give so much to the community and Chalese had a nonprofit supporting kids with medical challenges for many years… it’s time for all of us to help in even the smallest way can make a huge impact on their ability to support his recovery.
In the words of his mother…
“My boy is now fighting every day to heal from a traumatic brain injury . He’s been in the hospital since that horrifying night (9/18/2025)—just an hour and a half after I got home from my business trip. It is terrifying, heartbreaking, and almost impossible to wrap my mind around. YET—he is ALIVE ✨ and the only explanation for this is nothing short of divine intervention.
The love and support surrounding us has been overwhelming . We’ve already witnessed moments that feel like miracles , and I know we will need many more in the days ahead. I’m grateful his dad is here—we’ve always known how to walk through trauma side by side. I’m grateful for my husband, who loves my son as his own and has been a steady, irreplaceable presence through it all . I’m in awe of his medical team ⚕️⚕️ and the power of science working tirelessly for his healing , while at the same time I feel the blessings, prayers, energy, visions, and pure magic ✨ being poured into my child. I sense the angels —realms unseen but deeply felt—surrounding him, fighting with everything they have to keep him here, on this side of the veil.
In one moment, life changed . The road ahead will not be easy. There will be tears of both pain and joy ❤️. But I believe this journey will transform us as a family, and one day it will become a story that inspires others .”
prayers light and support is always welcome, even donating a little means a lot to the family.
