Help Declan Beaton
Friends and Family,
Our family has had a couple of the most difficult days of our lives. On May 8, our world stopped; we learned our brother/husband/son, Declan Beaton, went from a couple of really bad headaches to discovering a life-threatening brain tumor that needed immediate surgery. He was transported from his home in Abilene TX, to Dallas for them to remove the tumor from his brain, all within a matter of days. We are blessed to be writing this on the one hand, but the road ahead is long and unknown. Declan needs a lot of therapy to try to rebuild his life.
As the next 90 days take shape, Declan and his wife, Aspen, need help. Declan will need to go through at least 90 days of inpatient and outpatient therapy in Dallas at the UT/Southwestern Medical Center and at home in Abilene.
Declan and his wife, Aspen, have been living in Abilene, TX, with their two dogs since he finished his Air Force service in September 2023. Declan was asked to stay and work on a civilian contract at Dyess Air Force Base. He loves his boss, has made some really good friends, and enjoys his work.
Despite Declan's progress since the surgery, the financial burden of medical bills, ongoing therapy, and necessary equipment is overwhelming. As his family, we are doing everything we can to support him, but we cannot do it alone. That’s why we are reaching out to our community, friends, and fellow veterans for help.
Your donation to Declan’s recovery fund will directly contribute to his medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and essential equipment to aid his recovery journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to helping him regain his quality of life.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support. Together, we can make a difference in Declan’s life and help him continue his path to recovery.
With gratitude and prayers;
God Bless,
His family, the Beatons
