Support Deb’s Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

As you know after various stomach issues and tests being run, I was diagnosed June 10 with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer. to be shocked with that diagnosis, would be an understatement.

The doctors which I chose, immediately started chemo and other aggressive treatments in order to shrink the tumors in my pancreas.

unfortunately, I had used up all of my sick time and vacation time prior to beginning the treatments. The treatments have caused me to be very ill and unable to work.

The plan is to take four more rounds of chemo and then I will be in a position for a CT scan to see if any of the tumors have shrunk. We are hoping that the tumors have in fact, shrunk, so that I can go to MD Anderson for a portion of my abdomen where the tumor can be removed. After surgery we are looking at 10-12 weeks of recovery.
