Hey everyone here's a little background as to why I am starting this GoFundMe.

Let me tell you a little story about my mother Debra. My mom has worked hard her entire life always putting the needs of her children, family members and others before her own. Often working multiple jobs to ensure that she could provide for her family. Anyone who knows my mother would tell you that she is a caring, loving and sweet woman who would help anyone if they needed it without hesitation never asking for anything in return.

Recently my mother has had a series of strokes and hospitalizations. Having blocked arteries and collapsing veins in my mother's left leg has now resulted in her having to get her left leg amputated below the knee intially. Then a few days after the first amputation doctors discovered a bone infection along with MRSA, which then resulted in a second amputation of the same leg but this time doctors had to go above the knee mid thigh. So after multiple blood transfusions she was finally transferredoutnof the hospital to a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility to begin learning how to live with one leg. We have decided to start this GoFundMe to cover the costs needed for her day to day life and to make her home more easily accessible for her . Insurance has not covered much in regards to her medications and hospital bills which are piling up rather quickly.
