Support Debra & Richard in Italy Crisis

Hello, my name is Joe Loewenguth, FN, Ponce de Leon Assembly 152,

4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Jacksonville, FL.

I have been asked to set up a fundraiser for Debra & Richard Bernard. Debra fell and broke her leg while on a pilgrimage with a group that included the Bishop in Italy. After they got separated from the group because of the accident, they found themselves alone with not much help, language being the number one problem. On top of that, the doctors said they would have to come up with $20,000 before they would do surgery for the broken femur. They are receiving some help but not enough to cover all expenses. Richard is a 4th Deg Knight in our Assembly. They are parishioners at St Matthews but, attend Masses at Sacred Heart. Please give what you can they need our help.
