Hello, my name is Jennifer Lawson, the daughter of Debra and Johnie Lawson. I would like to help my parents with the financial burden of medical bills. Thank god my mom has survived cancer for 21 years. We are blessed to live so close to Johns Hopkins Hospital. My mom has been lucky to have top-notch Doctors, Surgeons and Nurses that have kept her alive.

My mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 21 years ago as many of you know. She underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy.

Unfortunately, the ovarian cancer has hidden its way through my mom's body to her lungs every 2-4 years. My mom has undergone 5 lung resuscitation surgery’s and radiation treatments as well.

The ovarian cancer has metastasized to my mom’s brain. A few days ago my mom underwent a six hour brain operation and the tumor was removed successfully. Praying my Mom will be able to stand and walk on her own real soon.

The neurosurgeon has come up with a plan to do pinpoint radiation on the two small brain tumors left behind.

I am fundraising to help cover the extensive medical expenses and ongoing treatments.

This fundraiser is for my mom, Debra Lawson, who has been bravely fighting cancer for over two decades and it has cost a fortune. I want my Mom to focus on her recovery and not stress about the financial burden.
