Support Deborah's Life-Saving Treatment

Hi my name is Debra Coleman. For probably 99% or more of humans, their Mom is their favorite girl in the world, this is about mine. Her name is Deborah Hunter.

She has always been incredibly healthy and vibrant, barely got a cold, never smoked and probably hasn’t had the equivalent of a full bottle of alcohol in all of her years! However, a recent trip to the doctor for a lump in her stomach has turned into the nightmare of a cancer diagnosis (all within a month!).

As if that is not bad enough, there were no symptoms at all so when we found out it has already spread. If anyone knows of or has experienced the American cancer treatment you know most people sadly don’t make it out, especially once there is progression. Thus the reason for this GoFundMe. There is a Dr./hospital in Tijuana, Mexico where she can receive the life saving treatment she needs, vs chemo that will kill her healthy cells along with the cancer thereby slowly killing her. Dr. Rubio has a long history of healing cancer patients who would have gotten a one-way ticket to die here in the US. AKA, would have been told sorry this is not curable. My family and I were extremely thankful to find out about Dr. Rubio and the Rubio Cancer Center. Unfortunately insurance does not cover this and as such we are reaching out to our community of family and friends to ask for help to save my/our Mom’s life.

Treatment is $1,500/day which covers all of her in-house care, lodging and 3 meals/day for patient and a family member (as they encourage having a support person there with you). There is extra $ for the outside testing etc… and she will be there at least 40 days.

Clearly there is not a price you can put on saving your Mom/parent. My siblings and family understand that you have life going on as well and genuinely appreciate any amount you can give!! We also appreciate you sharing this with anyone who might have the heart to give!
