Support Deborah Raulerson's Lymphoma Battle

Hi, my name is Angela Matthews, and I’m writing on behalf of my dear friend Deborah Raulerson, who has been facing an incredibly tough health journey over the past year. Deborah has faced an incredibly tough health journey, and I’m hoping to rally support to help her through this difficult time.

Deborah has been battling neurological and gut issues that have significantly impacted her daily life. Last year, she was diagnosed with a complex condition called a dual AV fistula—an abnormal connection between arteries and veins, which posed a serious risk of rupture. She underwent brain surgery to address this, including the placement of a special glue to prevent rupture.

Since her surgery, Deborah has struggled with neurological problems, seizures, and extreme fatigue. While her recent EEG shows she is seizure-free, she continues to face neurological challenges that prevent her from returning to part-time work and normal activities. She’s been doing her best to stay strong, but her health remains fragile.

Adding to her worries, Deborah was recently diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in her duodenum. Her doctors are still determining the best course of treatment, but early tests suggest it’s a low-grade, early stage. However, her symptoms—such as severe stomach pain and difficulty eating—are making her situation more urgent. She spends much of her time resting because she’s too weak to do much else, and when she tries to be active, she becomes exhausted.

The financial strain from ongoing medical expenses, tests, treatments, and medications is overwhelming. Deborah is currently unable to work full-time, and her health struggles have taken a toll on her physical and emotional well-being.
