The community's support for Deborah and her family has been truly remarkable. The goal has been met and the fundraiser is no longer accepting donations. Thank you for all of your words of kindness and the monetary support that will ease some of financial stress in this time of grieving.
The unimaginable has happened to our dear friend Deborah Fowler. She has lost her 13 year old daughter Lydia. Deborah and her family are in need of all the love and support that we can give. Deborah is a single mom and self-employed so she will not have income while she is taking time off work to grieve for her daughter. This fundraiser will help cover funeral expenses and provide financial support that will enable Deborah and spend time with her family without having to worry about bills.
Deborah expressed these beautiful words about her Lydia:
"For those who know me even a little bit you know that my children are the best, most important part of who I am. And for those blessed enough to have one of them touch your life, you know what I am saying when I say they are the most wonderful and fascinating people I know.
Last night, my Little Dove, Lydia left this world to be with the angels in heaven. She is no longer struggling with the things that this earthly plane placed upon her heart. She will be living on through the gift of life donations she is making to help organ recipients in need. I am forever changed by the way she graced my life with her love, her light, her laughter and her sweet giving spirit. I don't know what more I can say. Prayers and patience are greatly appreciated at this time."
