My wife, Debby Marlow, has to go to St. Louis to receive testing to see if she is a candidate for a liver transplant. Debby has suffered with severe symptoms and pain for months and it has dampened her quality of life. She is a beautiful soul full of wonderful stories and will make you laugh when no one else can. She is a loving mother and grandmother. Unfortunately she has not been herself for a while, struggling daily just to function let alone spend time with family or prepare for her Spring garden like she does this time of year.
Money is tight and we will have to travel to the hospital. It will take several days and there are expenses including gas, food, motel stay, parking and medical supplies not covered by insurance. There will also be a loss of wages for the trip.
If it is decided she is able to get a liver transplant there will be a stay of around two weeks and we will be required to stay near the hospital. Financially this will be another two weeks of lost wages and more expenses.
I do not like to ask for help but I am doing everything I can and it is a life or death situation. If you can help, even a little bit will add up! Thank you.
