One word to describe Debbie Boud, is kindness. Debbie is a kind wonderful die or ride friend for life. Her devotion to her friends, family and her fur babies is endless. On January 17th, 2025, Debbie was rushed to the hospital with a brain aneurysm, and having a stroke. During the ride to the hospital, she coded. The paramedic was able to get her heart going and getting her to the Hospital where she underwent immediate brain surgery. She has been in ICU for the past 23 days. The stroke didn't seem to leave any form of disability for her, until she had another stroke during an angiogram. This time she wasn't so lucky. The stroke has left her not able to feel her fingers or move her hands and also difficulty walking without a walker. She is 61 yrs old. This all happening after having two knee replacement surgeries, Then discovered a torn labrum. Not recouping from that financial burden, the aneurysm, and the strokes have now placed an even larger financial burden upon her.

There is no time set for when she will be able to leave the hospital. During all of this time, her bills are pilling up, and her copays are also immense. Thus leaving her in a desperate state. Wondering how she will be able to pay her bills. She has exhausted all means thus far, and still can't meet her copays, and bills. And what about the future? Knowing she has to have another brain surgery within the next month. She has no idea when she will be turning home and the scary questions weigh heavy upon her. How is going to pay for any of this and her monthly bills plus whatever is in her future. How will she be able to focus on recovering and adjusting to her new life. I believe the last thing she needs to be worrying about is her financial hardship. I am hoping all of us can show Debbie, she's not alone. I really love her. She is my friend. As she is many peoples friend. She has many people who are able and willing to help her get through this very difficult time. That there are many of us that are able to send whatever we can, to help her time in need. I am asking for any and all help for my wonderful friend. She would do it for any of us. As she has in the past. Please pray for her, pray she gets her mobility back, pray she gets through this. We will keep updating her medical condition as we can. UPDATE: Debbie is out of ICU and going to rehab. Keep the prayers coming

UPDATE: Debbie will be going home tomorrow!! She will continue with PT at home. Within the month or so she will be admitted in the hospital for another brain surgery, they will be putting in a shunt.
