Support Debbie's Battle Against Bone Cancer
It is with a heavy heart that I must give this update. Debbie lost her battle with cancer on June 19 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was such a bright light that has been snuffed out to quickly. Thank everyone who gave to help assist with her treatment. While this post was initially a request for assistant with those treatments I now am asking for any support that may be offered in turn for the expenses that incur for service arrangements as well as a celebration of life.
Hi, my name is Jason Schulz and Debbie is my mother. My mom Debbie was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer known as chondrosarcoma. This rare and challenging cancer requires ongoing, specialized treatment, much of which is being provided in Kansas City. To receive this care, Debbie must travel there several times a month by medical transport—a necessity that has quickly become a significant financial strain on her and her loved ones.
Debbie is a devoted homemaker who has always poured her heart into caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. She finds peace and joy in baking and cooking homemade meals—often sharing her delicious baked goods with friends and neighbors—and in gardening, where she tends to her flowers and vegetables with love and care.
Throughout her life, Debbie has endured a number of serious health issues, each one met with quiet strength, patience, and grace. These long-term struggles have now culminated in her cancer diagnosis, a devastating blow that she has approached with the same resilience and unwavering faith that have carried her through so much.
Debbie's faith in the Lord has been her anchor through every trial. She draws strength from her belief that God walks with her through every challenge, and she continues to trust in His plan—even now, amid such a difficult journey.
We are asking for help to ease the financial burden of her frequent medical transports, treatments, and related expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. More than anything, your support—both through giving and prayer—means the world to Debbie and her family.
Thank you for helping us lift her up during this incredibly difficult time.
