Hi, my name is Deniqua, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother, Debbie, who recently suffered a minor stroke at the end of June 2025.

This unexpected health crisis has turned our lives upside down. My mother is the backbone of our family—a loving wife, the most nurturing mother, and a devoted grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren. She is humble, empathetic, and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Now, she’s the one who needs our help.

Her stroke occurred while she was in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, where access to proper hospital care, treatment, testing facilities, and staff is severely limited. The lack of adequate local resources has made her recovery even more difficult, and much of the care she urgently needs must be sought elsewhere or arranged privately.

Our family is doing everything we can, but we are now facing mounting medical expenses including:

    •    Speech and physical therapy

    •    Testing and evaluations

    •    Medications and follow-up treatments

    •    Transportation and recovery-related costs
