In Loving Memory of Debra "Debbie" Ann Weeks
January 2, 1959 – May 2, 2025
We are raising funds to help fulfill Debbie’s final wishes: cremation and a return to her hometown of Kannapolis, NC for a proper memorial surrounded by loved ones and memories. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time and allow us to honor Debbie’s life in the way she deserves.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Debra "Debbie" Ann Weeks, on May 2, 2025, at the age of 66. Debbie passed peacefully at Seacrest Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Monroe, MI.
Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Debbie was a woman of quiet strength and determination. Later in life, she proudly returned to school, earning her associate degree in Computer Science from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. She worked diligently as a data entry specialist for various financial institutions and found joy in the little things—crafting, memories, and most of all, her family.
Debbie leaves behind two loving daughters, Christina Gilbert (David) and Nicole Bomia (Robert); her siblings Jerry Raposa (Phyllis) and Sharon Black; her cherished grandchildren Sarah, Alyssa, Jacob, Bethany, Leila, Ryan, and Jordan; and her precious great-grandson, Theodore. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Raposa, and her brother, "Wild" Bill Raposa.
Thank you for your love, support, and condolences.
With love and gratitude,
The Weeks, Raposa, Gilbert & Bomia Families
