Hi, I am Beth and I am sharing the news of a dear friend and former colleague, Debbie Watson. Recently, Debbie received the gut-wrenching diagnosis of Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer and Stage IV Liver Cancer. It's a devastating blow, and she's facing a challenging road ahead.

Many of you know Debbie began a new job in the private sector in January of this year. Thankfully, she has some support through her health insurance and short-term disability benefits. However, the journey she's about to embark on will require more than what these resources can offer.

Debbie Watson's strength and can-do attitude have always been a beacon in our community. For over 25 years, she's selflessly served in various capacities, touching countless lives with her optimism, generosity, and compassion. Whether as an athletic booster, school board member, township fiscal officer, or EMT, Debbie has positively impacted our community in many ways.

Now, as she faces this formidable challenge, we can return the love and support she's given us. Debbie's upcoming chemotherapy treatments will be brutal, making it very difficult for her to work. Our aim is to reduce the financial burden she's facing, ensuring she can focus solely on her battle against cancer without worrying about everyday expenses.
