My name is Debbie Skeen Kendrick. I am a mom to 2 beautiful children and a sweet dog named Coco and wife to a wonderful husband. I have been a barber of 33 years in the Brandon, MS area. Last month, I was diagnosed with lung cancer, late stage 2 possibly 3. I am scheduled to have surgery on September 22 to remove a large portion of my left lung.

Since the diagnosis, I am unable to work and will not be able to for some time during the months of recovery. The surgeon is hopeful to remove all the cancer cells with surgery, but there is a possibility of chemo and radiation to follow.

As I am self-employed, I have no income or sick pay if I can't work. This is going to be a long, difficult journey and I am just asking for any donations for the cost of medical bills and living expenses during this time.
