As many of you know, my parents have had an incredibly difficult year since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2024. Since then, she has been going through chemotherapy and targeted therapy along with a mastectomy surgery in December. We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and she only has a few months left of treatment.

Sadly, on Monday, July 7th, my parents had a small house fire that started in their kitchen from what they believe was a faulty outlet. The very positive news is that everyone is ok, including their pets.

They have to temporarily move out for the next month or so while the damages are repaired. Most of the items in their house need to be thrown out and replaced from the smoke damage. We currently have their pets while my parents stay in a hotel.

My mom and dad have been through hell and back this past year and have asked for little to nothing from those around them when they've needed it the most. I know they would continue to ask for nothing, but I want to help them as much as I can.
