Dear Friends and Family,

On May 2nd, our incredibly loved sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Deb Izer Hawkins, was diagnosed with Stage 3C Endometrial Cancer. The diagnosis and treatment have taken their emotional toll on Deb and her husband Steve, as well as all those who love her. She had a radical hysterectomy on May 2nd and is undergoing chemo; however, the cancer has already spread to her lymph nodes. After chemo, she will start radiation treatment. Along with these treatments, Deb is on a host of costly medications. With the stage of her cancer, the doctors have given Deb a 50% chance of survival, but we believe in a God who can work miracles, and we believe Deb will beat the cancer.

Because of her treatment, she has been unable to work since May 2nd. Her employment's paid leave ends on July 29th, and she will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. While her husband Steve does work, living on a single income is not possible at this time.
