Support Deante Washington’s Recovery Journey
On March 30, 2026, our family experienced a life-changing tragedy. My son, Deante Washington, survived an accident with a semi-truck. While we are beyond grateful that he is still here with us, he suffered severe and life-altering injuries.
Deante now faces a long and challenging road to recovery—both physically and mentally. During this time, he is unable to work and manage his everyday responsibilities.
We are asking for support to help cover his rent and essential living expenses over the next few months so he can focus entirely on healing and receiving the mental health care he needs—without the added fear of losing his home.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, but we remain hopeful. Deante is strong, and with the right support, we believe he can recover and rebuild his life.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping Deante stay stable and supported during his recovery. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and consider sharing this campaign.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
With gratitude,
Lakesha Washington
