Support Dean's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Life can change in a heartbeat. That is what happened to Dean Van Der Noord.
He has been experiencing medical issues and complications since October of 2024. He has been in and out of the ER and doctor appointments numerous times. He thought he had reached a resolution in December 2024 when he had his gallbladder removed. However, he was still experiencing severe pain after having the gallbladder removed. He ended up back in the ER late on April 3rd. The doctor performed a CT scan and an ultrasound and found a mass on his pancreas with lesions on his liver, along with blood clots in his legs and lungs. He was transferred via ambulance to the hospital to begin treatment on the blood clots. He underwent a biopsy on the pancreas and liver on April 5th. Dean is waiting on pathology results. The doctors are not 100% sure but do believe that initial reports point to pancreatic cancer.
Dean is experiencing severe financial hardship due to all the medical issues he's been dealing with, and all the time he has had to take off work due to these medical issues. He needs support more than ever, both emotional and financial.
Many of you who read this post know Dean from his time working at Roehl Transport. Dean has been a fixture at Roehl for almost 10 years. He started out as a driver, then transitioned into the office to be a Van FM, and finally came to his current role as a Flatbed FM.
I know this is a challenging time; every little bit helps. $10, $20, $25... Whatever you would be able to donate will be greatly appreciated. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.
Spread the word, please. He needs to know that we are thinking about him, sending him prayers and HUGE hugs. Hopefully, we can relieve some of the weight he's carrying.
