My name is Dean Rylewicz and I am raising funds for (2) AED machines for my 17-year-old daughter. One week ago, she went into cardiac arrest due to Long QT Syndrome that we never knew she had. We spent a week in the hospital and have since been discharged with medication to treat the syndrome. The team of doctors recommended that we have AEDs at home and within close proximity to her at all times. Come to find out, our insurance will not cover this needed medical device.
