Support Deanna's Move to Safety

I’m Deanna, and our family recently had a sewer blockage that flooded our basement and bathroom into our hallway. While our landlord seems to be trying to address the pipe problem, he does seem to be giving us the runaround in terms of providing a safe habitable place for us to live. We have toxic waste in our home, and that is not an immediate concern to him we have had numerous issues in this home since moving in a year ago and we think it’s best to just cut ties and find a home more suitable for the safety of our family. Moving is ridiculously expensive, but our peace of mind and our health are priceless. Our lease ended this past month as we’ve been in our home for a year now we are able to leave without penalty and would like to do so any donations would be put towards a deposit for a new home as well as any moving expenses and utility charges to transfer service. Any help would be so so appreciated. If my daughter got sick from all of this, I would be infuriated and with multiple surgeries coming up for me personally, I would like to not have the added stress and worry of whether or not my belongings are going to be destroyed with fecal matter if I’m to use my shower or washer or sink again.
