My name is Deanna, and I have a heart for serving Burundi, Africa. In the village of Kabezi, where we will stay, young children often walk miles, sometimes carrying their siblings on their backs, just for a single cup of porridge. The malnutrition can be seen by their bellies and spots on their heads. They go with no shoes and clothes that don’t fit. Burundi is the heart of Africa, but they feel forgotten. I want to be the reminder that they are remembered and loved. Because they have taught me more in my past visits about where true joy comes from than I can ever teach them. And, I am committed to making a difference through hands-on outreach and ministry.

This year, I am raising funds to help cover the significant travel expenses required to return to Kabezi. Your support will not only help me get there, but will also provide vital resources for the people I serve. Together, we will build homes for the homeless, support families who open their hearts to abandoned or orphaned children, and bring medical and food outreach to those in need. There will also be women and children's ministry and evangelism to offer hope and encouragement.

I am deeply grateful for everyone who has helped me get there in the past, whether through prayer or financial support. I believe that, with your continued prayers and generosity, God will make it possible for me to return to Kabezi this year and continue this important work.
