Hi, my name is Deanna Whiting, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney failure, and my life has changed drastically in a very short amount of time. My health has declined to the point where everyday tasks are difficult, and I’ve been extremely sick while trying to navigate what comes next.

Because of my illness, I was unable to work consistently and unfortunately missed my health insurance enrollment deadline. This has left me without medical coverage at a time when I need frequent doctor visits, testing, medications, and ongoing care. The out-of-pocket costs have quickly become overwhelming.

On top of my medical expenses, I’m now struggling to keep up with rent and basic living expenses. Between transportation to appointments, medications, and daily necessities, the financial stress has become more than I can manage alone.

I’m asking for help so I can focus on my health and treatment without the constant fear of losing my home or going without care. Any support raised will go toward:

• Medical appointments, tests, and treatment

• Medications and ongoing care

• Rent, utilities, and essential living expenses

• Transportation to and from medical appointments
