Hi guys, I’m Deanna (Rodriguez) Wiscombe and as much as I hate to admit it, I could use some assistance. I’m going to try to make a long story short. On November 6th, I went in for a “routine” umbilical hernia repair surgery and was told that I have colon cancer and needless to say, the hernia repair wasn’t able to be completed. Since then, countless tests have been performed and some of them more than once to pinpoint exactly what we’re dealing with. It has been an absolute shock to put it mildly, but now we must focus on healing. I say “we” because Kevin, my husband and best friend is right by my side to support me all the way.

The past couple of months are a blur to be honest, but my faith in God is stronger than ever and I’m ready for healing. I started chemo on December 29th and I’m getting ready to start my 3rd cycle of chemo January 28th.

As you can imagine, the medical bills are piling up and it’s getting quite overwhelming. It’s so hard to reach out for help but I am in no position to let my pride get in the way.

I am hoping to get some assistance with my medical bills so I can focus on my treatment and healing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
