Support Deanna’s fight: a battle against leukemia
On November 19, 2024, Deanna went to the hospital in Pierre SD to get checked out at the
Emergency room because she was sick the following week and, on that morning, she had red spots show up all over her body. When she went in fluid was found around her heart, her body’s immune system was in overdrive, and she was notified she would have to go to Sioux falls for further analysis and to do a test for what was said could be a possibility for leukemia. The next morning, November 20th, she was sent to Sioux falls by ambulance from Pierre around 9am and by 330pm her blood results showed she did have leukemia. AML or acute myeloid leukemia to be specific. Her chemo starts on November 26th. As you can imagine this has been an overwhelming and emotional time.
Prior to all this Deanna was a healthy normal 39-year-old woman. Dedicated and hard working at a daycare, living and loving life and working to make ends meet. Her main passion is just raising her two babies (Ki’amora and Kiantas) and enjoying life with her family
Deanna is a beautiful wife to Kiantas McNeal and loving mother to her two beautiful babies. Her family means the world to her, and she will fight hard and strong.
We are reaching out to ask for any help, donations or support as a long fight is ahead. We want to be sure she gets the support and care she needs to win this battle.
She is a beloved and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend
She is the youngest of 5 siblings. Her mom and dad are Elvera DrivingHawk and Ronald DrivingHawk.
Deanna is loving, caring, strong, generous, and very humble. Always willing to help anyone in need and give support. I’m asking for your help to give back to her and to make her financial situation a little easier. With your generosity and support, all funds will offset future and current expenses. The expenses include lodging, meal, travel and other expenses she will have. With your prayers and support on this long road ahead we are confident, and optimistic Deanna will be successful and WILL be cancer free. Thank you for taking the time to read and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any prayers and support.
