My name is Deanna, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the toughest battles of my life. In 2025 I was diagnosed with metastatic squamous cell carcinoma, and doctors discovered a large tumor on my spine. Over the past year, I’ve undergone 10 rounds of radiation and attempted chemotherapy, but the first round nearly killed me. Now I have to carry epi pens at all times due to the severe allergic reaction I experienced. I haven’t been able to drive or work for almost a year. My family and I have used up all of our extra resources trying to fight this horrible disease. Unfortunately, nothing seems to be helping.
It breaks my heart to know that I am running out of time and options. After researching and speaking with different oncologists, I am hoping to raise enough money to complete an aggressive specialized treatment at an alternative cancer clinic out of state. The doctors there are hopeful about treating this type of cancer with their integrative approaches. Unfortunately only a small fraction of the cost of these treatments are covered by insurance. The clinic also requires you to stay nearby for the duration of the treatment, 4-6 weeks. This is a huge financial burden and my family simply cannot do it alone.
Any amount given will be appreciated. I don’t want pity—I just want to be able to take care of my family again. If you can’t donate, I completely understand. Even just sharing this fundraiser with the community is appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all! My husband and son need me to fight this, and your support means everything to us.
