Deandra James and Teon Reid invite you share your support for our family in Clarendon, Jamaica, who has been greatly impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Our loved ones are facing a dire lack of resources and access to help, due to their remote location. While we are based in New Orleans, this is our most effective way of assisting our family at this time.
- They are without electricity indefinitely, and are in need of several generators across multiple homes.
- Transportation is severely limited, and access to food and water is becoming increasingly difficult.
- A large breadfruit tree fell on one of their houses during the storm, and they will need extensive repairs.
- Because of limited resource availability, basic necessities are becoming more expensive by the day.
We are hoping to raise enough money to assist our own family as well as the surrounding community. 100% of funds raised will go directly to our family in Jamaica and their community! Your help in this time of crisis is so dearly appreciated. We are urgently working to carry our dedication to community forward to our home country.
