Support Dea Adams' Recovery Journey

Hi, I’m setting up this page to help raise money for my best friend, Dea Adams, who had a terrible accident on Wednesday, August 14, while volunteering at Habitat for Humanity here in Roanoke with her fellow Branch employees. Dea fell from the 2nd story of the Habitat house she was working on and is now at Roanoke Memorial Hospital with a broken left leg, broken right ankle, broken right heel and broken right wrist. She has already had one surgery and is facing multiple surgeries in the future and a prolonged recovery according to her doctors. The overall prognosis is uncertain due to the nature of the injuries but Dea feels very blessed to be alive. She obviously will be unable to work for quite some time either at Branch or her second job and, even with some anticipated benefits from Branch, she will be facing extraordinary expenses from this accident and its impact on her ability to work or even return to her home.
