Hello! We’re Daytrip Farm Collective, a queer and BIPOC farming cooperative committed to land stewardship, food sovereignty, and community care. We have completed our first growing season on a quarter acre in Oregon City and are preparing to expand to a full acre next growing season.

Financial Transparency:

In our first season, we made $9,506 from produce sales, and put $10,000 of personal funds into tools, lease fees, field equipment, compost and amendments, materials for our wash/pack structure, irrigation equipment, propagation equipment, and seeds. We have $8,670 in our business account and have not distributed any funds amongst collective members.

We are raising $50,000 to help resource our expansion to a full acre and make our work more efficient.

The first $15,000 of funds will help us purchase:

-More irrigation supplies for reliable water access

-More field & harvest tools for efficient, low-till growing

-Post-harvest supplies like totes and boxes  to improve storage & distribution

-Cold Storage Rental

-More compost and soil amendments to enrich and sustain the land

-Greenhouse tools to support seed starting

-Row cover for season extension and pest management

The remaining $35,000 will help fund general operations.

With these resources, we can cultivate the remaining three-quarters of an acre, grow more culturally significant crops, and feed our communities.
