On November 25th, Dayton, Assistant Chief Pilot at Rocky Mountain Flight School, was hit by a car while bringing his son’s motorcycle home. If you have stepped foot into RMFS, you know he is a cornerstone of the aviation community.
Dayton survived, but suffered eight broken ribs and a broken shoulder. He spent nearly a week in the ICU, and while he is finally beginning to regain some strength, his recovery has been long, painful, and ongoing. Through it all, Dayton has shown the same quiet determination and grit that we know him for.
Dayton has always shown up for others and helped make RMFS what it is. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. The funds raised will help Dayton cover medical expenses, bills, and support his family during his recovery.
We are asking our community, friends, family, and anyone who knows Dayton or believes in taking care of each other for support. Every donation helps. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page makes a real difference.
We will not allow him to carry the weight of recovery alone.
In addition to this GoFundMe, RMFS is donating 100% of the proceeds from our Design Contest merch directly to Dayton through January.
