Help Us Support Daysha Thomas A Mother, Friend, and Fighter on the Hardest Journey of Her Life
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Daysha Thomas for over 20 years. She’s not just a friend — she’s family. The kind of person who loves with her whole heart, who shows up for you without question, and who would give anything to help someone else. If you know her, you know how deeply she loves her family, her friends, and especially her three beautiful sons — ages 18, 6, and 2.
For years, Daysha was told she had fibroids — a common diagnosis, especially after childbirth. After her first son, doctors assured her they were nothing to worry about. After her second son, they said they had grown but still told her they were harmless. And even after the birth of her youngest, doctors continued to say, “We’ll just keep an eye on them.”
But something never felt right.
Finally, after years of uncertainty, she underwent a biopsy — and the results shattered her world. What doctors once dismissed as “just fibroids” turned out to be cancer.
In less than a year, Daysha endured four major surgeries — including the removal of her uterus and fallopian tubes — each one taking a toll on her body, her spirit, and her ability to care for her family. What started as a routine checkup turned into an exhausting and terrifying fight for her life.
And just when it seemed like the worst might be over… it wasn’t.
Daysha was diagnosed with Stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that had already spread to her lungs. July 8, 2025, she began her first round of chemotherapy, stepping into the hardest battle of her life with the strength, courage, and faith that have always defined her.
This journey has been relentless, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. The medical bills, hospital stays, surgeries, and now aggressive treatments have placed an unimaginable burden on her and her family. Time away from work, childcare costs, travel to specialists… it all adds up. But through it all, Daysha fights. She fights for her children. She fights for her life.
Now, it’s time for us to fight for her.
We’ve set a goal of $250,000 to help relieve the crushing financial strain on Daysha and her family. These funds will go toward medical expenses, treatments, travel for care, and basic living costs, child care, and education for her son giving her the chance to focus on healing and holding on to every precious moment with her children.
If you’ve ever known the love of a mother, the heart of a friend, or the strength of a fighter, you know why this matters.
Whether you can donate, share this campaign, or lift Daysha and her family up in prayer, every single act of kindness makes a difference. Together, we can help carry some of this weight. Together, we can show her that she does not walk this road alone.
Thank you for standing with Daysha, for believing in her fight, and for being part of her village during this unimaginable time. Your support means more than words can express.
God bless all of you. Signed, Daysha’s friends and family.
