Help Dayo Fight Lymphoma
On January 7, Dayo was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma. Our world stopped in that moment — but Dayo immediately showed us the same strength and resilience he has always shared with others.
He began chemotherapy on January 20 at Pacific Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service in Lafayette, CA, under the care of Dr. Crawford-Jakubiak. So far, Dayo has completed four rounds of chemotherapy. His February 18 CBC showed excellent bloodwork results, and his oncologist confirmed that he is responding well to treatment and is cleared to continue.
Dayo is undergoing the CHOP Protocol developed by University of Wisconsin–Madison. His treatment includes alternating weekly injections of Vincristine and Doxorubicin, along with oral Cyclophosphamide and Prednisone, with scheduled rest weeks. It’s an intensive journey — but Dayo is handling it with incredible bravery.
For eight years, Dayo has been a devoted pet-assisted therapy dog. After lovingly supporting his cheetah companion and sister, Pancake, until her passing at nearly three years old, Dayo transitioned into serving others. He has brought comfort and healing to children and adults undergoing cancer treatments at hospitals and medical facilities throughout the Bay Area. His calm presence, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness have touched countless lives.
Now, the one who has comforted so many needs our help.
The total cost of Dayo’s chemotherapy is estimated at $25,000. Any donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward his treatment and continued care. If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing of Dayo’s story mean the world to us.
Thank you for standing with Dayo in his fight against lymphoma.
