Support Dayme's Final Year at Massart

I'm Dayme, a Cuban-American metalsmith and sculptor. For the past three years at Massart I've poured everything into my work to explore my identity, memories, and gender through metal objects that carry meaning, like incense burners, hinged boxes and jewelry. After my freshman year, my family couldn't support me anymore. I've worked full-time while studying, paying rent, medical bills and tuition on my own.

I've come too far to stop now. This final year is within reach but I need help. Every bit of support brings me closer to graduating and continuing the work that makes me feel seen, grounded, and free.
