Hello everyone, my name is Siara, and I am the oldest sister of our sweet Dayla Chantel Swain. Dayla was unfairly taken from us while celebrating her nursing school accomplishments on 2/2/25. She was shot while out and suffered fatal injuries, crushing our entire family. Dayla was a wonderful, hardworking mother who just wanted to create a good life for her children.

Dayla leaves behind 2 children, ages 1 and 9 years old. This is my parents' second child, and my second sibling, we've lost to gun violence within 3 years. As you can imagine, the pain is unexplainable.

Asking the community to help was a last resort; however, there are some unexpected leftover expenses that have come about, and I want to eliminate as much stress from my mom as I can.
