It is with heavy and broken hearts that we are informing all that after a 4 1/2 year battle, our son, Dawson is losing his life to this horrible disease of cancer.
We are absolutely beside ourselves as we struggle to wrap our head around what is his reality is.
As we prepare for our last months at home with him we must discuss the heartbreak that is the end of life decisions. After years of medical bills and missing work, we are now having to try to figure out finances for things a parent should never have to do.
We are aware in the times the world is in that everone is struggling financially, with that said, no insurance company offered life insurance we are out of options but to reach out. I do not know how to, and I am beyond upset that this is our truth and I must ask for any help anyone can offer at this point, even if it is prayer.
Dawson, through this fight has remained very optimistic and a true warrior while juggling chemotherapy, radiation, transfusions, and feeling all in all just horrible, he has continued to go to college. He was to graduate in the spring with a bachelor degree in marketing. He also enjoy theater and show choir and has mad many friends. Any help in these tough times would be truly appreciated.
