I’m starting this fundraiser because I need help leaving an unhealthy and painful situation. After years of emotional manipulation, control, and betrayal, I’ve finally made the decision to walk away from my relationship and rebuild my life, but I can’t do it alone. My partner and I have been together for several years, and while there were moments of connection, those were slowly replaced with criticism, gaslighting, and broken trust. I’ve tried to hold things together, to make things work, and to be patient in the hope that things would change. But they haven’t. The cost of staying has been my confidence, my peace, and my sense of self. I’ve realized that love should never come at the expense of your soul.

Now, I’m taking the hardest and bravest step I’ve ever taken: I’m choosing freedom. What I need right now is a safe place to land. The money raised here will help me with:

First month’s rent and deposit on a small place of my own

Basic furnishings and necessities (bed, kitchenware, linens, etc.)

Transportation and moving costs

Time to get stable without being financially trapped in the situation I’m leaving

I work hard, but I don’t have the kind of savings needed to make this move quickly and safely on my own. Every dollar brings me closer to stability and further from the fear that’s kept me stuck.
