Support Dawn's Battle Against Breast Cancer

As many of you know, Dawn has been battling triple negative breast cancer for the past year+. She has been through numerous treatments and surgeries and most recently this spring started a new breast cancer trial at Mass General. This means she is no longer receiving care at the local cancer center near her home. The days traveling to/from and attending her appointments can be long, but the time recovering between treatments has been the biggest challenge for her, Ben (husband) & Kieran (their son).

Since her diagnosis, so many of us have been trying to figure out how we can support Dawn, Ben & Kieran from near or far. So many people have asked what we can do to help. I know she loves receiving cards, notes, hilarious memes, BTS inspo and 80s & 90s throw backs (we've found some really good ones!!) I thought it would also be nice to put together a little fund that will go directly to the Baker family to help cover expenses while Dawn is in treatment and recovery.

Dawn does not expect anything from anyone, but I thought it might be nice for those who have asked to have a place to give to her, Ben & Kieran.

Update as of 09/13/2024

Dawn's fight against cancer has taken on a new dimension in the last few days. Unfortunately all of the chemo, radiation and surgery wasn't able to keep it from spreading to some other areas of her body. She is in the Neuro ICU at Mass General, and will undergo surgery this week to remove a tumor at the back of her brain which is causing all sorts of issues. A plan will then be made to try to shrink/contain the other tumors in her liver, right adrenal gland, spine and chest to ensure the best quality of life for her in the days ahead.

We are thankful for our friends and family for your support, help and care, and we are so thankful that she is at the best place in the world for this sort of advanced treatment. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
