Dawn has been my lifelong friend—we grew up together and have shared over 50 years of memories. She’s the one who keeps our group connected, never missing a birthday or a chance to make someone feel special. Now, she’s facing one of the hardest times of her life, and I want to help her the way she’s always helped others.

Dawn’s husband, Dan, has struggled with medical problems for years, but the last few have been especially tough. He hasn’t been able to work, and Dawn has juggled three jobs just to keep up with bills and health insurance. Despite all her efforts, she’s now on her final payment agreement and is at risk of losing the home they’ve owned for over 30 years. On top of that, her own health has taken a back seat as she tries to care for everyone else.

The funds raised will help Dawn keep her home, cover lodging expenses for her summer job, pay for car repairs, utilities, daily expenses, overdue bills, insulin and medical supplies, and her expensive health insurance. She’s doing everything she can, but she can’t even be by Dan’s side in the hospital because she has to keep working. It’s breaking her heart, and she truly needs our support. Even a small contribution can give her the break she needs to get through the summer while waiting for Dan’s Social Security to be approved.
