Hello everyone-

With heartfelt sincerity and humility, I'm writing this today to ask for your help with something that hasn't been easy for us to do.

My name is Johnathon, and I'm writing this on behalf of my incredible partner, Dawn Gresham, who is currently battling colorectal cancer (large intestines). This is a battle no one expects, and unfortunately, one we are facing without health insurance.

Dawn is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known. She has always been the kind of person to put others before herself, quietly lifting up those around her, never asking for anything in return. When she was diagnosed, she wanted to keep it private, only telling close family. She didn't want sympathy. She didn't want to be treated differently. She didn't want to take away from someone more in need - those are her words that should tell you a lot about who she is.

But now, she needs us. She needs you.

After 5 years of dedication to her job, her position was dissolved, and with it went her health insurance. That loss has turned an already terrifying medical journey into a financial crisis.

We have been incredibly blessed - an anonymous family we've never met paid for half of her initial treatments. We are forever grateful to them. I have taken on all I can financially without hesitation and will continue. I'm currently looking for a second job. But we've reached a breaking point - where more money is going out than coming in and simply cannot do this alone anymore.

Our goal is to give Dawn the best chance to focus on healing without the crushing weight of financial stress. Every dollar raised will go towards her care and well-being.
