Support Dawn Estelle's Journey to Stability

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for support as I face a challenging + vulnerable moment. For over half a year, I’ve been actively searching for full-time work to create stability. In the meantime, I’ve been living between family, friends + my 2018 Ram ProMaster 1500 van with only 120k miles, which I converted into a camper to provide myself with an affordable place to live

+ travel, giving me peace of mind. With rising living costs, I invested everything I had into this van as a way to find freedom + self-sufficiency. I know many of us are struggling to support ourselves in these difficult times + I’m no exception. My goal is to always offer affordable help to my supporters + meet my basic needs + I promise that even if you can contribute just $5, it will be used towards a greater purpose once I’m back mobile.

Unfortunately, my van has been out of commission since the beginning of October due to a seized engine, leaving me with a $6,200 repair bill that I simply can’t afford. I’ve taken great care of it with regular maintenance, including oil changes + replacements like the water pump, oil cooler + coolant reservoir. But despite all my efforts, I’m now without my only form of transportation.

Asking for help is difficult, but I’m reaching out because I truly need it to get back on my feet. My van has been my home, my safe space + my means of living affordably while working hard to secure stable employment + land.
