My name is Pam and I’m trying to raise some money to send to my friend Navette and her mom Dawn in Jamaica. I met Navette two years ago along with several other young students who were here working as lifeguards for the summer. I got to know her mom, Dawn, through helping Navette during a health scare. We have stayed in touch, and I reached out to her after the hurricane hit their island. It took several weeks, but when she got back to me, she sent me some pictures of the devastation.

The structure that is attached in the pictures is the house that her aunt, cousin, and cousin’s children had been living in. It is completely demolished and they have lost everything. If you can help with even the smallest donation, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be sending periodic funds through Western Union directly to Dawn. Any help that you can give would be a tremendous assistance to the victims of this terrible hurricane. It will go directly to them.
