Hi, my name is Nic, and we're raising funds for my mom, Dawn Marie Adams, who recently received a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her brain. Despite the shock and heartbreak of this news, my mom is facing every day with courage, strength, and hope. She is determined to fight to not just to extend her time, but to live it fully and meaningfully. Focusing on spending time with her husband Richie, her children, her Grand, mom, family, and friends.

As many of you know, my mom is selfless when it comes to giving and supporting others. She is active in her local community and has been extremely supportive in fundraising events and providing support for numerous friends, family, and community members throughout the years. Now, she needs our help to assist in her fight against cancer.

In October 2025, doctors confirmed that my mom has Stage 4 adenocarcinoma lung cancer, which has metastasized to her brain. This type of cancer is relatively slow growing and is typically responsive to treatment.

She is undergoing radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy as part of her medical treatment plan. In addition, she is working with her medical doctors to pursue holistic and natural therapies, including supplements, nutrition support, and integrative treatments, to help fight the cancer and strengthen her body and support her health throughout treatment.

Unfortunately, the out-of-pocket costs for are already overwhelming and many of these essential supportive therapies are not covered by insurance.
