Sweet Davis was recently diagnosed with leukemia following a couple of weeks of abdominal pain and fatigue. He is currently receiving care at Studer Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, where surgery was performed to place a chemo port and begin treatment. Davis will undergo intensive chemotherapy for the next 6–8 months, followed by maintenance treatment lasting up to three years.

During this time, he will be unable to attend school in person and will continue his studies from home. Dan, Ally, and Olivia will face many challenges ahead as they focus on Davis’s health and recovery.
