Support Davis Family's Mission Trip to Kenya

Hello all!

We are the Davis Family and we are planning to head to Kenya this Fall. We will be joining in on a mission trip with a group of people from our church, Inspire Church, and a few others. Some important info:

The trip will take place in November, 2024.

We will be traveling from Fremont to Chicago to New York to Nairobi.

Our travel destinations are in Kenya: Kijabe (home base), Mai Mahiu, Naivasha, Masai Mara, Nairobi.

We will be working with Pastor Peter & Josephine at Beat the Drum Orphanage in Mai Mahiu and Pastor John and his wife Helen at Mutini Church in the IDP Camp in Governor outside Mai Mahiu.

A little less than a week ago the leader of our mission trip received word of flash floods and a landslide in the outskirts of Maai Mahiu. Many bodies have been recovered and many more are missing. This is devastating for this community. A dam broke resulting in members of the community losing their homes, treasures and lives. Many people have lost everything and it continues to rain.

Please be in prayer for those who have lost their homes and people they love.

Our leader said that this is where we are going in November! Depending how things progress, this could definitely have an impact on ministry and what needs are present when we are there.

Thank you for your consideration in helping us fund our trip to Kenya this Fall. We would love if you would keep us in your prayers for the days leading up to our trip, the days we are there and our safe arrival back home. Please pray that we can help make a lasting impact in the lives of those we meet in Kenya.
