Hello, my name is Davidson Graham, and I am from Haiti. I am here to ask for donations to try out for a professional soccer team in Motril, Spain. This would be my first paid contract. This team has scouted me for my skills and noticed my commitment to this sport. I am trying to raise $3000 to pay for rent and food while in Spain. It would be an opportunity of a lifetime because I've spent every moment playing and dreaming of soccer.

Growing up in Haiti, I was playing street soccer as young as 4 years old with the older kids in the orphanage. After moving to America when I was 7, I participated in several sports, but soccer was my true passion. By the age of 11, I would wake up at 4:00 a.m. to do my training, as the days were long with homework and yard work for my neighbors. Going into high school, I was the only freshman to make the varsity soccer team. I made a memorable impact on those who watched, as I scored countless goals. Coming right out of high school, a professional team in Castellón, Spain, asked me to play on their B team – and although it wasn’t paid, it solidified my purpose.

Everything I have worked toward in my life is to play professional soccer overseas. I put time and effort into soccer every day, even if it’s without the ball. It’s why I can say with utmost confidence that donating money to my cause is a safe bet because my future will go far.

Every step I take gets me closer to my goal, and that includes asking for help.
