David is a dedicated 1-501st Geronimo Veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now he’s working toward a degree in counseling & psychology so he can support other veterans facing mental health challenges. Earlier this year, David suffered a serious accident that left him with a broken leg. Since March 14, he’s been relying on crutches and a wheelchair, and his recovery has been complicated by a persistent infection that continues to delay his healing.
David’s days are now filled with medical appointments, therapy sessions, and a strict regimen of antibiotics. The mounting medical bills, therapy costs, and daily expenses for food have become challenging. On top of that, he’s working hard to keep up with his university classes online, but the costs of course materials and school-related expenses are adding up quickly. Life on the farm brings extra challenges getting around and managing daily tasks while he recovers.
David has always been there for others—both in service and in his studies. Now, he needs our help to get through this difficult time. Every contribution will go directly toward his medical care, therapy, daily living costs, and educational needs, helping him focus on healing and getting back to his mission of supporting fellow veterans.
